Hi team, just want to ask if anyone was or has experience this kind of deployment using Aruba Central role assignment rules.

    Example:

IOS Smartphone > Connects to WiFi 802.1x > Role Assignment Rules check > Access Rule Role assigned > Apply Access Rule

iPhone > WiFi_802.1x > Rule detects IOS Smartphone > Assigned the Role "Device IOS-P" > gives the user a Vlan 69

iPAD Pro > WiFi_802.1x > Rule detects IOS Tablet > Assigned the Role "Device IOS-T" > gives the user a Vlan 68

Android > WiFi_802.1x > Rule detects Andoird Smartphone > Assigned the Role "Device AND-P" > gives the user a Vlan 70

How do you handle the 802.1X/WPA-Enterprise? ClearPass? Cloud Authentication and Policy? Other authentication server?

You would set this up (in general) in your authentication server.
