I have a 7005 controller i would like to factory reset. The issue is I don't have the password and cannot reset the password.
I go through the process of password/forget me but when i go to configure Terminal i get:
(Aruba7005_BE_EF_68) #configure terminal
This controller is managed by a Mobility Master.
Configuration changes can only be performed on the Mobility Master.
I tried write erase all and get:
(Aruba7005_BE_EF_68) #write erase all
Controller will be factory defaulted. All the configuration and databases will be deleted. Controller will be reloaded. Press 'y' to proceed : [y/n]: y
Error:You do not have permission to execute this command
So doing research they say Turn on disater recovery. I tried this and i get:
(Aruba7005_BE_EF_68) #disaster-recovery ON
Error:You do not have permission to execute this command
Doing more research I found i need to run local-config enable. When i do this it's like the command doesn't exist:
(Aruba7005_BE_EF_68) #local-
local-userdb Configure the Local User Database
local-userdb-guest Configure a guest user in local user database
show mgmt-user has no users defined and i can't use the "password recovery" commands. The controller is running 8.7.0.2.
(Aruba7005_BE_EF_68) #show mgmt-user
No Users defined
Anyone have an idea how to get in and factory reset the controller??
