    Hello,
    I need to know if we use Aruba Mobility Controller we can set up a weekly backup of the configuration to an external server.

    You can use Airwave for that.

    Or  you can try alternative TFTP Get apps that will get the controllers running configs.

    The controller cannot do it by itself.  You can certainly use Airwave, as was said before, Or you will need a scripting program like expect that waits for output to do a "backup flash", wait for it to finish, and then copy the flashbackup.tar.gz file to another file server via ftp, tftp or scp.

    I have set up a shell script on a Linux server that ssh into the controller , performs a flask backup and copies the file to my server. I then have another program (rclone) that moves that backup file to Dropbox for an off-site backup.

    This does not get the license information on the MM but er are running redundant MM. If desired you could use a similar process to export the license information to a file & back it up. License information is available on ASP anyway if needed.
