    Currently in my environment we are using RANCiD to back up our network configs.  It works great.  Recently I upgraded my Aruba network firmware to 6.6.4.16 and now I couldn't get the backups.  Found out that part of the issue was the cyphertype (fixed that) but not each time I test with a username / password using rancid, I am being told to check my password.

     

    I know the password is correct becuase i'm using it login into the web portal for mgmt. 

     

    I have a seperate user for rancid, and i've tried both accounts, still getting prompted to check my password.  I can't figure out if I have a type somewhere, or if there is a problem with the script that was put out.
