That may be not as easy as it sounds. It starts by finding a proper way to find which devices belong to which users to de-duplicate the dataset.
You may get a (detailed) report with all sessions and extract the required data from there. If you know how to do that manually, next step can be how to automate either in Airwave or external tooling. If you can find an adequate devices per user number, you may also calculate an average number of users from the total number of devices. Unless you need a very accurate number, for most applications that may be more than accurate enough.

Subject: Building and floor occupancy count / utilization help
Hello & thank you in advance for any help!
I work in the Corporate Real Estate department of a large company, and I was hoping someone could provide guidance on how to extract a count of unique employees onsite at a facility by day from Airwave. I have had discussions with the IT infrastructure team, and they were only able to produce a PDF with non-unique counts. I scoured the internet, Gartner, this forum and AI for how to and guides but came up empty handed.
Goal: An excel export weekly showing columns of (1) Day/Date, (2) Facility, (3) Unique count daily of users w. company issued laptops - both hard connection & Wi-Fi so I can model in PowerBI. We know MAC IDs and do not want to include cell phones etc.
Ask: Are there any guides or step by step instructions I could provide to the IT team? Would anyone be willing to write out some general guidance / instructions or provide any screenshots? I will take anything! :)
Thank you again for reading!
