I have AP-535 and need to set up the captive portal. I was able to do so but my client is asking whether we can use a voucher code (Like Starbucks will give code to their customers). I have been looking on Google and so on but there is no answer found. So my question is, is it possible to do it? And if yes how do I set it up.
Do you have any information on the rest of your deployment? Is this standalone AP, Central, CPPM etc? Reason I ask is something like this can be achieved. As it is simply a case of giving the client some predefined credentials to access the network prior to the client requesting them.
It's not a standalone AP, I'm using Aruba Central and have 20+ APs. How can I apply this? Do you have any idea?
So Aruba Central has the below Guest options. It might be worth detailing the Guest flow you'd like the users to experience first so then we can see what option matches best within Aruba Central. You have the option for Authentication where a Guest can self-register and receive their credentials or you have the option to generate bulk accounts prior and distribute these to the Guests.
I have already set up the captive portal where user can self register by using their email or phone and it's a working fine.
But now client don't want to use the self register email or phone, they want to use code which we will provide to the guest. Do you have any idea?
And can you tell me more about the option to generate the bulk accounts?

You can generate an account(s) using the following, for bulk creation this would need to be a manual task.
