Has anyone worked with the newer Chromecast devices that also have Google TV for streaming?

I've been able to setup the device on our wifi network but only the Google TV functions work. The Chromecast device and cell phone used for testing are both on the same AP, same controller and both IP addresses have been authenticated on the controller. I can adjust the volume of the TV and streaming content using the Google Home app so I know the devices are talking. The app never offers the option to cast though. The Google device is fully functional on a hotspot but doesn't allow casting options once on our network. We have previously setup older models of Chromecast on our network without issues.

Are the two devices in separate VLANs/Subnets? Do you have AirGroup enabled?
