Right...I saw the note on EC2 instances and encryption but was hoping it was specific to OS level encryption.
From my understanding EBS encryption is transparent to the EC2 instance. Everything happens at the storage layer and it doesn't impact how the volume is used on the instance. I actually have a proof of concept CP server running in AWS with an encrypted EBS volume but we haven't put it through its paces. I saw the KB with the general "encryption not supported" note after it was brought up.
Will most likely rebuild unless there are other opinions. Want to make sure we are running a supported instance.
