    Hello

Roughly two weeks ago we changed the password for our secure wireless network via the virtual controller.  Since then, we have had several complaints of users being randomly dropped when moving throughout the building.  I have also worked with a couple of users who randomly lose Internet access even though they remain connected to the network.  We have not made any other changes to the network other than the password.

    A few things to note:

    - we have 60 IAPs

    - it's a mixture of 205 and 225

    - when looking at the web UI I have several clients with no name and 0.0.0.0 for an IP address

    - I am also receiving client alerts for integrity check failure

I assume this is all related to the change in password since the symptoms began immediately after.  Any suggestions on what might be going on and how to remedy it?

    Thanks for your time!

It is possible that people had problems before you changed the password and they decided to report it only when you changed the password.  Clients with no name and 0.0.0.0 either have the wrong preshared key or are not getting an ip address.

Hopefully you have broadcast filteriing on all of your SSIDs.

The integrity message is for people who attempted to connect to the SSID with the wrong preshared key.

Thank you for the information.  I believe the majority of quad zero IPs I'm seeing are student cell phones that had obtained the old preshared key.

I haven't had any complaints this week about losing Internet connection so it may have worked itself out.  The problem on one device ended up being a duplicate IP address.

    Thanks again for your time!
