    Hi

I am Chang, Aruba Korea's Reseller Partner

a couple of days ago, I provided 9240 Campus GW (OS 8.10.0.0) and AP-655 for my customer's office's Wireless Lan Service.

My customer asked me to change 9240's  Local DHCP Server Settings, from which is set up prefix /24 of User's Network Range to prefix /23.

I know usuallly DHCP Pool can be set up like that, but I can't be sure of Aruba 9240 also do as others do.

and I have another problem with changing 9240's NTP Server.

I can add NTP Server that my customer prefers, but I couldn't delete NTP Servers that I set before
Is There any CLI configuration or guide to delete existing NTP Server of Aruba9240?

please refer to the photo under below,

    1. I goes to 9240Ctrlr/system/clock

    2. I clicked NTP entry in the list and right side button to delete it

    3. My config was Failed caused by 'Config deletion will not take effect configuration is inherited.'

    Thank you

For messages: Configuration is Inherited, you usually go one level up in the Configuration Hierarchy.

That could be the reason why you aren't allowed to delete it.

Example for Aruba OS 8.2 (https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_82_Web_Help/Content/ArubaFrameStyles/Configuration_Hierarchy/Config_Hierarchy.htm)

Can you please provide the information on where in the folder did you configure the NTP, or where you are trying to delete it?

I listed NTP server in /mm/mynode but I couldn't edit it

and I have more question about Local DHCP Server of Aruba9240

My customer wants to configure only one WLAN to use Local DHCP Server of Aruba9240  (other WLANs are using external dhcp server),

and he wants to configure its dhcp pool using prefix 23(255.255.254.0) for user's network range.

So, I deployed local dhcp server of controller in my Lab, but I couldn't have it more than 254 addresses.

Is there any other way to have it accommodate more than 254 addresses in ONE WLAN.

ex) getting a couple of vlans into one ssid

ex) or using prefix 23 in dhcp server

ex) any other way that can make it have many users(devices) more than 254 addresses
