Hi, as the AP-315 appears to be coming in at a lower cost than the AP-225 I will consider them for an upcoming project. Can anyone tell me what processor is being used and the amount of RAM on the device please.

Yes, very important for determining capacity vs other models.

Note that it's not always apples to apples as chipset scalability is different (and we won't be releasing the chipset here). AP-225 is dual-core 800MHz, the AP-315 is dual-core 1.4Ghz. Both have 512MB of SDRAM, the AP-225 has 32MB of Flash, and the AP-315 has 128MB Flash. 

Understand, and understand the hestitation to provide hard capacity numbers since there are so many variables that will totally change the outcome, but nevertheless we need some sort of basis of comparison at the pre-sales stage.
