Hi here are the details you requested
Model
Aruba7210
Boot partition
ArubaOS 8.10.0.9 LSR_88493
AP Model = Aruba 515
When you say
Infinity is using Multicast which is very challenging
Can you please expand and give me a good explanation.
Surprisingly what no one has answered so far was my first question, that being, is it good practice to give the Draeger units a static IP or not?

Hi,
i have done the certification of Aruba Gear with Draeger Equipment. I have certified several version of codes and several AP types with Draeger.
Can you give more insights like:
- which version of code are you using?
what AP types are you using?
- do you have contact to an technical Aruba representive (SE, CSE)?
Infinity is using Multicast which is very challenging.
Is it a controller environment, than this output could be from interest

I work in a cardiac hospital. We use the Draeger Medical Infinity telemetry devices which provides continuous surveillance of telemetry patients using the hospital's existing WiFi .
These only work at 2.4 and we are having continuous problems with the devices.
They randomly drop of the WIFI network and then randomly reconnect.
All of the Draeger Medical Infinity telemetry devices have been given a static IP address.
So my very first question, is this best practise or not?
If not, please provide a explanation as to why not.
Second question. Lets assume the Aruba WIFI network is perfect. Perfect for all devices, except (the Draeger Medical Infinity telemetry devices which drop of the WIFI network) what would you as a qualified Aruba engineer look at in investigating the problems?
Third question, has any one else has issues with Draeger Medical Infinity telemetry devices ?
Ironically before going to Aruba, we were running an Alcatel WIFI network and we were having the exact same issues.
