looking at the cx6100 there are 4 1/10 GB SFP+ uplink ports.

I  see that in Iris it is impossible to connect any of these ports to another switch.  Iris configuration is alos not allowing connectionss to the uplink ports.
no documentation about supported Dac cables  ...
any one has an idea why no uplink connectivity is possible or is this still a lack of testing/approval

DACs will work fine in the 6100. number of people have deployed them and used Aruba's standard 10Gig DACs between multiple 6100's and 6300s and  they are recognized and work fine. it seems that they are not in IRIS under the build for 6100 switch. You can add them as a separate line item. Hopefully IRIS will be updated.

Correct that 10G DACs will work in the 6100 (we know our Aruba DACs will work, but alas, at this time they report as "unsupported").
We will be addressing that with the upcoming 10.11.1000 release (ETA ~March 2023).
Until then, IRIS works on making connections using supported connection types -- Optical or supported DACs on both ends.
Please don't use any other type of 10G DAC cable -- those would clearly remain as an Unsupported Transceiver product (see the XCVR Guide for our stance on Unsupported Transceivers).
