I have a site that has one master and four local controllers. Is it possible to have the master controller for a DHCP and have the users on the other local controllers get their IP address from the master.

Here's the reason for the question. We have everyone on the enterprise who uses DHCP to get an address from our corporate DHCP server. We have been seeing certain devices (mostly Apple) on our guest network getting addresses designated for our wired network. All of the controllers are configured with addresses for the guest vlan so users can get the Captive portal page. Any ideas?

Where does the Guest VLAN gateway reside? Is it on the master?

Right now the gateway resides on the local routers at the site.

Ok. In order to have the master as the DHCP server, you will need to change the DHCP helper address on the router where the gateway resides. You will need that to point to the master controller, after you have configured your DHCP pool for that VLAN. Or if the master has an IP address on that Guest VLAN, you can just remove the helper address from the router, as devices will ARP across the VLAN for a DHCP response, and the master, running as a DHCP server, will respond.
