EAP-TLS authentication timeouts

    Hi, We use ClearPass to authenticate (EAP-TLS) wireless and wired users (RAP's) in active directory.

    Seeing a large number of EAP-TLS timeouts on ClearPass of the Windows laptops cabled to a remote access point. 

    The radius alert is "Client did not complete EAP transaction". 

    The same laptop will authenticate via wireless through the same RAP without an timeouts.

    We also see timeouts after the client has successfully authenticated.

    What's the network path between the AP and ClearPass?  Have you done a wireless survey in this area to determine the RF health?  I've seen poor RF cause client timeouts like this.  Are the SSID configuration options the same?  Where are the timeouts occurring?  Wired ports on the RAPs? Or Wireless?
