Edge HA BW License Arrangement

    Hi,

     

    When designing Edge-HA configuration with the following scenario – which BW license arrangement should be applied?

     

    1 x Aruba EC connected to 1 x 200Mb DIA

    1 x Aruba EC HA Connected to 1 x 200Mb DIA

     

    Should we apply 200Mb or 400Mb license on EACH Edge Connect CPE?

    Hi,

    If both circuits can be active simultaneously you have 2x200, i.e. 400 Mbps capacity and therefor need to have 400Mbps licensed or a 500Mbps license (400 is not an available license option) on each.

    For EdgeHA there are HA-licenses available at a better price. You can combine a 500-Mbps regular license with a 500Mbps HA license.
