Subject: Firmware v6 - Intel driver AX-201/210 drops connection when roaming
500 APs managed by Central.
With firmware v8 we don't have this.
We still have a lot of IAPs 205 so we can't upgrade to v8 (firmware compatibility)
Roll back of the driver on the test PC from 22.150.0.5 or 3 (date 15/03/2022) to 22.80.0.9 (date 19/08/2021) and issue is gone. It's difficult to do this on a global scale. Intel AC drivers don't have the issue.
Issue occurs when using security WPA2 Enterprise (Radius), which we use for our authentication/security (in our case certificates).
The tests I've done so far, it works via WPA2 Personal (PSK).
I guess if it's working on v8, Aruba should get it working on v6, this has a major impact on us.
Apparently other vendors are capable of solving this. -- AX201 / AX210 not working with WPA2 Enterprise Radius under Windows 10 - Intel Communities
