    Hello
We already  have one Gateway configured and its working fine
Now we would like to add anther Gateway for HA

I was wondering how hard is to do that with Aruba OS 10?

I was reading some but i don t know if i got the correct steps to do so, or if im missing something
    Some data:
Gateway A = Gateway that is working right now
Gateway B = Gateway with no configuration ( this is the new one that we will add for the HA)

    Gateway A =192.168.10.5/24
    Gateway B = 192.168.10.6/24
    Interface Vlan 50 = 192.168.10.1/24
    VRRP IP= 192.168.168.10.7/24

1-Add the gateway to the aruba central(the gateway will have no configuration)
2-Upgrade it to the same firmware that the gateway that is already working
3-Configure the ip of the Gateway B as you can see on my table up which is on the same network of the gateway A
4- set HA in automatic and autogroup
    5-Go to redundancy:
    a)Put anything on the description
    b)select ipv4
    c)put an authentication password
d)put in the VRRP IP address
e)What should i put on the priority???
    f)put admin state up
g)select the vlan that the gateway are right now which is 50.
h)Aside that im not sure what to configure in the tracking part
i)Move the gateway B to the group where the gateway A is
Im not sure if my configuration like that iits on the right path or im going on the wrong path?

Has anyone configured this before with Aruba OS 10 with aruba central for WLAN?

    Help is appreciated!

    Thanks

    your procedure should work.
however always check the documentation as well.

VRRP is active / passive. The gw with the highest priority between 1-255 will be the active GW. The lowest will be the standby.
When you configure this on group level, they will both have the same priority (default: 100). You can then configure a local override on device level to increase the priority of the preferred active GW.

    > h)Aside that im not sure what to configure in the tracking part
You don't need that in most cases. You can use that to track interfaces and reduce the priority if an interface goes down, so that another GW can take over the active VRRP role.

    > Has anyone configured this before with Aruba OS 10 with aruba central for WLAN?
For AOS10 I do not use VRRP because the GW in my deployments are not routers for any subnet. Also the APs don't need a VRRP for controller discovery anymore because they get this information from Central. So I only activate Auto-clustering but do not configure VRRP.
