    Hi,

As mentioned in the Subject line i would like to know what is the steps to configure IAP 515 device both Ethernet ports.Currently I have Aruba 2nos 2530 L2 switch in Network, Need to connect IAP 515 on both switch as either Active and Active or Active and Passive.

According to me this can be acheivable by using Lacp.

what needs to enable on IAP and switch side.

Please help me on the steps how to configure the same.

    Any clarification please revert.

    Thanks,

    Sunil

The IAP user guides cover the instructions, which you can find on support.arubanetworks.com under 'Documentation'

Hi, i think this is not possible in your situation.

So you can do a LACP trunk on stacked switches, or 2 switches that supports distributed trunking if you want to connect the ap to 2 switches.

The 2530 does not support that so you could only make a LACP trunk on 1 switch to connect the 2 ports. But from your starting post, it looks like you dont need this.

I thought the 2530 stacked, if not then no this won't work. If they will stack, then you should be able to do LACP I would think.

    Lacp is working fine.

But High Availability of Ethernet ports is not working, Eth1 is not poe port IAP can't switch on using eht1 port, this is flaw back in the 515 device

I would not call it a "flaw", but rather a "restriction"  ;-)
