    Dear Pavan,

My controller: ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba7005), Version 8.3.0.6. But when config ALE as your guide, it said:

    (Aruba7005) [mynode] (config) #ale-configuration
Command not applicable for this platform

How can I fix this? Thank you very much.

Are you running on MD or its a standalone controller? I am able to run on my MM.

    (DK-MM) [mynode] (config) #ale-configuration
    (DK-MM) ^[mynode] (config-submode)#

    Hi,

Did you get it solved ? Because I'm facing the same issue on my standalone controller (aos 8.5).

I'm afraid it is not possible to make ale configuration on a aos 8.x standalone controller ...

Can somebody confirm if we definitively need Mobility Master setup in order to configure ale ?

    Thanks

Are you able to run below command from AOS CLI

    #show ale-configuration

There is no such limation, it should work for standalone aswell.

I checked it in House. Looks like the standalone is not giving the ALE tab. Only when we check from MM it is.
I am checking with the controller guys on this. I will update the thread based on their response.

    For GUI,

    Configuration -> System -> More -> ALEALE-GUI.jpg

The below Airheads post might be helpful.

Open new thread this thread is for location query! are you creating roles in Clearpass or controller? If you are getting internet then check ACL rules for that role.
