    I have a stand-alone IAP-305-RW, configured to use 5GHz radio only. When power on, it appears to always use channel 36E. Is anyway to configure the device to use other channels, instead of 36/36E?

    There is a setting under the web GUI, which I tried:
    Configuration -> RF -> ARM -> Access Point Control ->
        -> Customer valid (Enabled)
        -> Valid 5 GHz channels (de-select 36, 36E)
       -> Save, Reboot.

    But it did not make a difference. The 5 GHz continues to stuck at 36E.

    Is it possible to remove certain channels from the settings?

    Thank in advance for your answer!

    Bill

    you need to deselect 36, 36+ and 36E

    It worked! I had to deselect 36s, too. After reboot, the AP picked channel 52 for 5GHz.

    Thank you or your answer.
