How to switch from mode managed switches to mode monitor switches?

    Hello,

     

    How can i change the mode of the switch from managed to monitor? The template configuration is to limited for our configuration. I would like to use the aruba central only for monitoring of the switches.

    Aruba TAC informs me that the 2930F is only supported in managed modus. Other switches can be changed in de API Gateway (under maintenance)

    Hello!

     

    I feel you. Already filed a feature request for monitored mode. Making templates is tedious and GUI config dosen't have the depth for everything. So I proposed that switches can be monitored in Central and then using Central's cli web console, they can be configured.

     

    I hope they implement this. It would be a lifesaver workaround in lots of cases. (Like this August, the "import config" button disappearence and etc.)
