    Hi is there any supported SFP+ 10G BX modules for this switch? HP Switch 8206zl (J9477A) with installed expansion J9538A.

    Hello

    Here are the quick specs of the 8200 zl series

    On page 38 are listed all the accessories supported with the switch.

    I dont see any 10 G SFP+ BX transceiver there. I see only 100M and 1Gpbs BX transceivers.

    Yes I know that, but there's third party working sfp modules unlisted in official manual, maybe someone has experienced such case.

    The 8200 zl series switch should not allow any 3rd party transceivers to be used.  They will be blocked by the OS and the message "unsupported transceiver" will be displayed.

    Newer switch models (rebranded to Aruba) allow this restriction to be disabled with the command "allow-unsupported-transceiver" however this command is not available for the 8200 zl.
