Reaching the IAP, that issue is probably routing or firewall related.
I would guess that the CRC/alignment errors is a bad cable.

So you have things working? If not, you might create a new version of your diagram that actually shows all of what is connected where. There may be some assumptions being made that aren't true.

Set a static IP for the client, when connected to the wireless can the client ping the DHCP server?

Hello Chulcher,
Thanks for your reply , i think your answer help me so much.
The client retrieves the correct VLAN 1
You're right the pvid for br0 is currently 1 but how can I change? Are there any other changes that need to be made? Below are the commands. Thank you!

With a client connected, run "show clients status <mac-addr>" and see if the client is really getting assigned to VLAN 1. If they are, then the problem is likely that you've not changed the IAP's "Switch uplink native VLAN" setting so the IAP doesn't know to tag VLAN 1 ("show datapath bridge", PVID for br0 needs to be 23).

Hi Leo,
Thanks for your reply , but i can't change vlan 1 on the ap. Otherwise I have to change all my switches config etc .. Unless there is a way to access the 172.16.79.x network from another VLAN from the ap?

Hi
i think vlan 1 should not be labeled on the ap. Your ssid vlan can be replaced with another vlan. The planning of vlan 1 is wrong.

Hello Chulcher,
Thanks for your reply. My DHCP server plugged into an access port on the switch VLAN1

Is your DHCP server plugged into an access port on the switch that is configured for VLAN 1? Or the default gateway for VLAN 1 has a DHCP helper configuration pointing at the DHCP server?

Hello,
First of all, thank you for your various help which will surely give me ideas. I have a problem getting ip address from a specific vlan that uses a windows DHCP server.
In fact since last time, when I connect I cannot obtain an IP address on my AP 505 access point.
The explanation seemed clearer to me with a diagram. Do you have an idea ?
Knowing that if I untagged the terminal on vlan 1 the IP assignment works correctly for the ssid... Thanks!
