    Hi,

Is it possible to have multiple ip help addresses in the same vlan linked to multiple domain names so that the pcs can get the ip addresses as per their domain memberships?

or it can only be done through windows group policy?

    Thanks.

IP helpers, or DHCP relay, don't point to a domain name, they point to a DHCP server. You can have multiple ip-helpers, depending on the switch/controller/router device you have. Normally IP addresses are assigned based on the VLAN, not on the domain they are member of as the windows domain does not really have a relation to IP addresses.

If you can describe more in detail what you try to achieve, the answer might be more specific.

    Hi,

I have some PCs connected to the same VLAN but the domain differs. I need domain1 PCs to reach DHCP1 and domain2 DHCP2. I think it is related to the Windows setup. The switch cannot be configured to accomplish this.

    Thanks.
