Is user authentication possible with an LMCompatibilityLevel of 5 (NTLMv2 only)?

  • 1.  Is user authentication possible with an LMCompatibilityLevel of 5 (NTLMv2 only)?

    All of our DC's are all set to refuse connections other than NTLMv2 (Level 5), when user authentication is tested through the AAA Test Server it fails. When the level is dropped to 1 the authentication works fine.

     

    Is it possible for user authentication to work using NTLMv2?
