Hi,
Testinig some cert/mac auth on a 6300 sfp+port switch with copper SFP+modules..... problem is, 1st time (when i was watching ) the technician plugged a windows client it, it doid a machine based auth, downloaded a DUR, was dropped into the statically assigned vlan and obtained an ip address ..... great! seemed to work.
Now when you look at the switch interface, thers no link light on the port or the client machine. plug it into another switch ... works, plug it i to this one ... comes up then goes down.
Is ther something etra i need to do for an SFP+ switch with copper GBIC?
All ive got in the DUR is
Class statements allowing DHCP,DNS,ICMP and an "allow all" ACL
Policy using above
Then
associate policy staticvlS1h
reauth-period 3600
auth-mode client-mode
client-inactivity timeout none
Authentication uses statically assigned swithc port vlan
