This is an officeConnect switch, you might find the firmware here HPE Networking Support Portal

    Hello Zac67,

I have the same issue. I got the lastest firmaware for the HPE switch. But, my problem is that my coworker deleted the file configuration. no the storage is flash. My question is how I can upload the firmaware to the switch. I tried TFTP using the console connection, didn't work because the swith has no IP address; I cannot upload on the web gui iether for the same reason no IP address on the switch.

Could please help me to find the way to do it. I believe there is a way to do it.

    Kind regards

What is the exact type/model number of your switch?

Normally configuration and firmware are separate, if you delete the configuration, the switch should still come up but without configuration.

    Hi there.

    I agree with Herman.

Firmware file and configuration files are separate files on the Comware platform.

If you are in the boot menu I believe you can configure IP Address from the ethernet menu.

Please provide more information as to where you are in the the boot process and which exact switch we are talking about.

    Hi there.

The switch is still operational, but I can not configure nothing.

When the swith booted the only menu I got is the Extend-Boothware menu. The storage is empty, there is not Firmware file and configuration files.

    Kind regards

If you're using the serial console you should configure the basic IP parameters to enable the web management interface, likely in the Ethernet submenu.

    Hello Zac67,

As you can see this is the menu I am getting in, check image below. The ethernet submenu is a death end. The only I can do there is set the TFTP or FTP configuration.

On TFTP config just ask for my TFTP server settings and the soposed switch IP.

The local IP is what I desire the swith IP should be. but this is not right. The switch continue with no IP address.

Please advice if you any other though.

    Kind Regards

Set the IP and protcol and prepare your "server" with tftp server or ftp server, then fetch the firmware "<2> Update Main Application File"

    Did you try this ?
