This strikes me as odd: I have a 3-chassis 10508 setup, with 1-2, 2-3 and 1-3 IRF and MAD links. As I brought these MAD links up I checked lldp neighbors and got these (and corresponding log entries:
[rsdcore2]dis lldp nei list
System Name Local Interface Chassis ID Port ID
rsdcore2 GE1/2/0/19 b8af-6763-6b56 GigabitEthernet2/2/0/19
rsdcore2 GE1/7/0/19 b8af-6763-6b56 GigabitEthernet3/7/0/19
But my third MAD link, Gi2/6/0/43 to Gi3/2/0/19 doesn't show up. Looking at lldp status on the 'good' and 'bad' ports shows the same status:
[rsdcore2]dis lldp status int gi2/2/0/19
Port 1555 [GigabitEthernet2/2/0/19]:
Port status of LLDP : Enable
Admin status : Tx_Rx
Trap flag : No
Polling interval : 0s
Number of neighbors: 0
Number of MED neighbors : 0
Number of CDP neighbors : 0
Number of sent optional TLV : 23
Number of received unknown TLV : 0
[rsdcore2]dis lldp status int gi2/6/0/43
Port 1771 [GigabitEthernet2/6/0/43]:
Port status of LLDP : Enable
Admin status : Tx_Rx
Trap flag : No
Polling interval : 0s
Number of neighbors: 0
Number of MED neighbors : 0

Anyone have a clue before I open a support case? (and where the heck is the page to list my open support cases??? ;^)
Thanks - Paul
