    Hi All,

    May I know how do we log a case to Aruba TAC for Clearpass that is running in VM? Since there is no serial number, how do we log the case? 

    In addition, can anyone log a case to Aruba TAC for Clearpass (VM) despite the maintenance contract does not belong to my company? But there is active contract with Aruba.

    Would like to log a case on client's behalf despite not being the incumbent vendor.

    Hi

    For a virtual ClearPass server you don't have to provide a serial number. I usually enter N/A or None in the field.

    As an Aruba partner I'm usually register the case, not the customer.

    Always provide the end customer information and also the following information:

    • Cluster or stand alone
    • Number of nodes in the cluster
    • Business impact
    • Number of affected users
    • Troubleshooting steps taken
    • If it's possible to replicate the error and the steps to do so
    • Detailed description of the issue

    If you are not a partner, I don't know if you can register a ticket or if it must be done by the company owning the ClearPass server.

    If you have access to the Networking support page it should be fine I guess
