  • 1.  Max Associations

    Hi, we have an SSID with the default setting for max associations of 64 but the controller shows some AP's with 70 -80 clients on one radio (2.4Ghz). I thought the AP would not allow the 65th client to associate so can anyone enlighten me as to what is going on?

    That setting is per VAP/SSID,  are you sure that number is not all users across all 2.4GHz SSIDs or perhaps it is including cached users in the user table?  What do you see when you run the following?

     

    show ap association ap-name <NameOfAP>

    show ap association bssid xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
