    Posted 2 days ago

    hi, i have a switch HP 2530-24G-PoEP Switch (J9773A),  working for the ISP failover process

    --> In the interface 1 i have the ISP1

    --> In the interface 10 we have the ISP2

    i want to enable mirroring, the packet capture interface will be the Interface 24.

    i will put a packet analyzer on this the port 24...

    can i enable the monitoring for both interfaces at the same time? if so, what is the right syntaxis?

    thanks!

    Have not tested with a 2530, not sure if it supports multiple mirror destinations, but on a 2930F the following seems to work:

    mirror 1 port 24
    interface 1 monitor all both mirror 1
    interface 10 monitor all both mirror 1

    Please check if it works, it may be as well that a 2530 only has 1 mirror destination and commands are simplified/different for that reason.
