    Hi,

    I have two questions.

    1. Is a Mobility Master necessary for a Mobility Controller to work or can I just use the Mobility Controller without one?

    2. If I have IAP's at multiple locations, is one controller at the main building enough for all IAP's to work?

Thanks in advance for the help!

1.) No you do not need a mobility master. You will lose features like live upgrades, AirMatch, Centralized AirGroup, etc..
2.) Depends on the distance between the APs and the controller. How many APs are you looking to terminate? Keep in mind the controllers have a maximum number of APs they can support. You can find these numbers in the datasheets for the controllers. Once you havea controller in, the IAPs would be converted to Campus APs, using the controller to make the configurations.

one other solution that you can consider is that, have your instant AP in your other sites and configure IAP-VPN between the remote sites and the Controller in the central site.
