    Hi,
i assume this is a basic question, but somehow i can't find the solution

We need to monitor Airwave server itself from a third party monitoring system . So my question is not about controllers, AP etc, purely the airwave system itself. Where do i need to add snmpv3 settings? I've tried under "Device Setup - Communication - SNMPv3 Informs" but that seems not to work.

I also took pcap, the Airwave server seems not to respond to the initial packet (initiated by the global monitoring system -> airwave server).

    Nothing to see in eventlog

FYI - also tried tcpdump via cli on airwave to verify if this packet is really entering the server, does not work (TAC case)

We dont have a direct way to configure NMS to poll Airwave. We have only way to add NMS on Airwave and get the triggers send to it, which can be done under Amp setup --> NMS. However, if we need a way to poll Airwave and get the info, we need to install additional package from Airwave CLI and have this configured which can be done with the help of TAC. I would suggest opening a TAC case for this.

    Thanks for your answer Vishnu,
monitoring availability of any system via snmp is a basic requirement in our organization. We'll probably make a TAC case for this.
