    Hi,

I need to move PCM+ to a new server. Is this easy to do. I am not too worried about keeping the syslogs or events. I am happy to do a new discovery. I am more concerned that the license will say it is already used.

Any tips would be most welcome.

    Best wishes

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

a possible way might be to install the trial version on the new server. Then to stop all HP PCM Services (Datastore Management Server, Web Server and Agent). And copy the whole PCM folder (C:\Programm Files\Hewlet Packard\PCM) to the new server. After this restart the new Server.

    Greetings

    JR

If you are running PCM3, install the new server and use the transfer license option (preferences/licensing) to transfer the licenses to the new install ID.
