I have a client who has an MSM 720 with 10 APs running 6.3.0.0. Clients on a VLAN'd SSID (VLAN 10) are not receiving DHCP addresses. The AP system log is chock full of errors such as the following:
May 29 11:33:07.304 crit <MAC:ADDR> dhclient: exiting.
May 29 11:33:07.304 err <MAC:ADDR> dhclient: Failed to get interface index for eth0.10 (No such device)
May 29 11:33:08.163 warn <MAC:ADDR>monitord: Unexpected termination for process 'dhclient -cf /etc/maestro-dhclient.conf -d -hostname <AP_SN> -q eth0.10' [pid 1371, up for 1 sec(s)]
May 29 11:33:07.120 crit <MAC:ADDR> dhclient: exiting.
May 29 11:33:07.120 err <MAC:ADDR> dhclient: Failed to get interface index for eth0.10 (No such device)
I am interpreting this as the APs are not able to see VLAN 10 on the controller or that the dhclient.conf is corrupt. If anyone can advise so we can get this school back up and running, I would appreciate it!
