Hello,
I have an HPE 5130 switch and accidentally deleted the boot file.
Therefore the switch no longer wants to reboot. It is under version 3506p11 and I cannot deliver it to him.
How can I do ?
Thank you
Hello fouji,
You may use the following procedure (xmodem) to recover the image:

Hope this helps!
Hello @fouji,
As @-Alex- mentioned, you need to upload the software by using xmodem method.
You need to go to boot menu to upload.
Below is the 3506P11 software version release ntoes and refer pg. 99 section 'Using XMODEM to upgrade software through the console port'.

Thanks!
Hi @fouji !
Actually you don't NEED to use XModem method, you CAN use it, though it's not the most optimal one. There is much faster procedure - "Using TFTP to upgrade software images through the Ethernet port". It takes minutes, not hours like with XModem. More information can be found here - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=a00116471en_us , page 99.
