    Hi all!  I'm new to managing Aruba AP's and am  hoping there is an easy answer to this question...

    Our devices are not named in the console - just listed by MAC address and I have no idea which device is where.  The only thing I can see on the device is the sticker on front that lists a number starting with 00AE..... and all of the MAC addresses start with b0:b8.....

    Is there a way to match these numbers up so I can determine where each device is?  These are all mounted on high ceilings so I cannot get to them to look at the back of each device...

    Are you using Central, Instant-based APs or Controller-based APs?

    cli to controller, then do command:

    ap-leds ap-name <name of ap> blink   --> to make it blink

    ap-leds ap-name <name of ap> normal --> revert to normal

    on instant:

    - ssh to ip address of the AP

    - ap-leds blink

    - ap-leds normal

    --> find the blinking AP, tag it.

    --> repeat on another ip

    IAP-LEDS Blink
