    Hi Experts,

Our customer has a requirement on partitioning the backhaul bandwidth (the untrusted internetline) according to the SSID's(Virtual AP's). Assuming the backhaul line is 200 Mbps and that we have 3 SSID's, the allocation could be 40 %, 30 % and 30 % respectively. The backhaul partitioning requirement is 80 Mbps, 60 Mbps and 60 Mbps respectively for the 200 Mbps line. SSID 1 is supposed to use 80 Mbps, SSID 2 is supposed to use 60 Mbps and SSID3 is supposed to use 60 Mbps.

I understand there are traffic management profiles and the 3 parameters which control the QoS are Station Shaping Policy,Proportional BW Allocation and Report Interval.

Can I check if these parameters control the QoS in the air interface (wireless link) only or do these parameters consider the backhaul congestion also ? I am not sure if the parameters can achieve the backhaul partitioning requirement from the customer. Please advise.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Ashwin

The traffic management profiles only deal with traffic in the air.
