We have a model 110 HP Tipping Point.  I'm aware on how to reset the admin password via other threads.

My question is when I power cycle the unit does it fail open or fail closed ?  If it fails open I can reset the password during normal business hours.    If it fails closed and will interrput Internet service to the business I'll need to schedule during off-peak hours.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

If I remeber right, the 110 and 300 sensors have built in ZPHA relays so if the device was to lose power it should still pass traffic.

On the subject of fail-open, you may also want to check the Intrinisc HA config on the sensor. You should make sure each segment is set to Permit All for the L2FB action as this will also insure the traffic passes in the event of a hardware/software issues and traffic spikes whilst power is stil applied.

    I hope that helps.

    Chris.
