We user Clearpass and Aruba wireless. We had our RADIUS cert expire last week. Suddenly, clear pass stopped logging access via access tracker but some clients are still able to get on WLAN? Is this related to EAP caching? What is the expected behavior. Where can these phantom sessions be viewed in Clearpass or on WLC? How can I adjust to stop this from happening when some part of the cert chain is no longer valid.
This is expected behavior, remove the expired certificate if its not used in any services for authentication.
