Do anyone know if this is possible?

We have this client  which  they would like to use all Aruba as they already got all their access swithces with Aruba(right now they got like 90% of their switches aruba but all of them are like access swithces)

They right now got a alcatel 6850(which is a distribution swithc as their core/distribution switch) It has no performance issues... and they have it becasue their network is not that big to use a chassis.

The total of users are 1500 but let say its 2000 just to be safe(most of the traffic, is internet traffic)

They want to migrate to a switch that supports 10GB links as they will slowly move to that and the switch they got right now just support 2 ports of 10 GBs, and as they need to buy a new switch they are asking us if we got a aruba that can replace that 6850 to have all Aruba infraestructure.

    Any comments

    Cheers

    Carlos

You can, but they're not designed for it. You have to be careful of MAC table size.

    Thanks,
