I just checked and the filter in config mode is not available in my Central 2.5.5 either, it seems added in the upcoming release 2.5.6.
For the time-being, you may have a look at
https://central.wifidownunder.com/ (
check here how to get it in your own environment). This is not Aruba supported, but has been reported to work for many people.

Subject: Searching for APs in config mode --> Access Points
I am in group-> config-> Access Points and couldn't see any option to filter in my test setup. My cluster is in Canada, running Central 2.5.5. Customer also can not see any filtering option in his deployment

renaming of the APs are done from the group-> config-> Access Points
there you can filter

Subject: Searching for APs in config mode --> Access Points
My customer has few hundred of APs to be managed by Central. They want to modify AP name from Central but there is no way to search for AP name once in config mode. I am testing this in lab and couldn't find any way to search for APs in this mode. Comparing with MCR, I can search for APs by name, MAC address or IP in AP provisioning list which makes it easy to find the required AP and re-provision it with required parameters. Please see snapshot below from Central 2.5.5
Post
I saw posts that suggest using APIs, but this is beyond the skills of my customer and has its limitations also, customer is looking for something similar to search in MCR architecture.
Any hint or workaround?
