We have a 5406 with syslog sending all messages with severity "error" to our main syslog server.  Recently we had a technician remove a module from the switch because it wasn't behaving and put it back in.  That fixed the error but we did not see any events show up in our syslog server.  It happened too long ago to check in the switches evenlog but I am just wondering if maybe that type of event is a lower severity than "error"?  I've never been able to find a matrix that explains all of the different error messages and their log levels so that I could be sure we're logging what we want to syslog but it worries me that we might be missing imporant information.
