Unable to search for ip address

    Does IMC have some odd search shortcomings? I am trying to add a new device. The ip address happens to be 10.12.0.79, the system tells me there is already a device with that address. When I go to search for that address, IMC returns to me the device having ip address 10.12.0.73.

    IMC version: iMC PLAT 7.3 (E0504)

    Not sure what is going on.

    Does it think that devices has multiple interfaces? It could be that it thinks it has additional interfaces, one of which has that IP.

    What sort of devices are you adding?

    Bingo. Thanks for pointing me in the right direcion. OOB management port has that ip. Someone must have set the ip during initial setup.

    Good to hear it's sorted. That sort of thing can catch you out. Loopbacks can often cause problems, when someone configured some testing thing ages ago
