The common method is to lower the DHCP lease time to enable a soft migration.
Another common method is to keep your old address plan functional while you set up the new plan. Once that is in place you wait for old leases to run out and then remove the rest of the old address plan.
I don't think there's another way to force a DHCP renew before (half) lease expiration apart from remote config/scripting.

We have switches, CX and AOSS, who gets management IP from DHCP. Is there a way to get the switch to request a new DHCP IP when it looses connection to Central or some IP on the internet?
I have a switch right now that has lost connection to Central for 17minutes and it has not requested a new IP.
We are changing IP net and are exploring alternatives to lowering the leastime on the scope.
