    Hi, team.
    I need to upgrade ARUBAOS 6.4.4.20 to ARUBAOS 8.10.0.5 on two HA wifi controller 7030 and AP205.
    I cant find any upgrade path, may a have to upgrade 6.4.4.20 to an specific version before to upgrades to 8.10.0.5? ore can i upgrade directly to 6.4.4.20 to 8.10.0.5?

    Could somebody help me please?

    Hi Mcelleja,

    Aruba AOS6 and AOS8 have a different architecture. Upgrading from AOS6 to AOS8 means the controller become factory default and you have to re-built your configuration manually. See also the migration guide here.

    If your not familiar with the process ask your local Aruba Partner to assist you.

    Hi everyone, our 7005 controller image was deleted. How can I restore it or install a new image, please?

    Aruba controllers have two partitions and you can boot from a secondary partition.

    1. log in as the root user and enter the enable mode.

    2. Type the following command:

       boot system partition <partition ID>

    The 7005 controller image was deleted does not relate to upgrading from 6.4 to 8.10.
