    Hello,

In the user manual for the V1910, it's stated that there is optional VLAN configuration by MAC address.

I'd like to implement this, but I can't seem to find any information, and poking around in system mode has revealed very little information.

Is anyone familiar with configuring VLAN by MAC address on the V-series switches?

    Any assitance is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Matt

I think I found a gold mine of information:

There is a dedicated section in the Layer 2 - LAN Switching Command Reference-book.pdf : http://www.h3c.com/portal/Technical_Support___Documents/Technical_Documents/Switches/H3C_S5500_Series_Switches/Command/Command/H3C_S5500-EI_CR-Release_2202-V1.03/

    starting at page 149.

access the system view in the CLI via:

    _cmdline-mode on

password is 512900 [as of 5.20 Release 1101P09]

type sys to enter system mode.

    [update]

sadly it seems that these options are missing in this version of the system software
