Hello, I will have situation in production as on this attached picture. I'm interested in is it possible (I know that it is not recommended by VSX design). ISL has two links (every per 10 Gbps, aggregated 20 Gbps), all trunks are 10 Gbps. On all switches I have spanning-tree mst active. How to be sure that these VLANs (200-204,207,999) will not be blocked on ISL link regarding STP loop. I have  this in my GNS 3 lab.

I would like to hear your opinions.

    Best regards,
    Milan Babic

Make sure your 8360 VSX core switches are set to STP priority 0 (root), and access switches to a higher number eg
    • access switch2 = STP priority 2
    • access switch3 = STP priority 3

    spanning-tree
    spanning-tree priority 2
    spanning-tree trap topology-change instance 0
    spanning-tree config-name TestLab
    spanning-tree config-revision 1

On top, STP will never set a port as "blocked" if the port is used for ISL.
