Please open a Support case for this, as it's not as it should be. If the laptop has a different MAC address, when the port goes down, the port-access authorization should be removed and a new authentication should happen. Do you see that new authentication happening?

Subject: want CX switch to immediately bring down the switchport when a device is unplugged.
testing colourless ports for a customer, the issue is that when a device is unplugged from the switch and another device is connected to the same port very quickly the new device still gets the role of the old device.
example unplug an AP and connect a laptop immediately the laptop would keep the AP VLAN and role.
so is there any timer or setting that when a device is unplugged from an Aruba switchport, the switchport transition to a down state immediately or very very quickly ?
